Crop Systems Limited is the UK's premier manufacturer and installer of potato and vegetable stores. In the past 25 years it has built an enviable reputation for combining innovative thinking with outstanding engineering and products.
Over that time it has developed a series of innovative systems, each of which has set new standards for the potato and vegetable storage industries. Its latest system, SmartStor™, enables operators to monitor and manage stores remotely while reducing storage costs.
The company operates from a purpose-designed 15,500 square foot factory at Happisburgh, Norfolk.
Annually, our four storage facilities consume around 300,000 kWh of electricity. Given the skyrocketing energy costs, it's imperative for us to maximise our home-produced solar energy.
SmartSola has been instrumental in smartly controlling our storage run times. As solar energy becomes available, the system sequentially activates the stores.
